PFCCU Makes Dreams Come True
Loyalty is a big issue among small business owners, many of whom like to support companies that do
business the way they do. For some, being a credit union member is not unlike being part of a family.
After joining PFCCU in May 2004, small business owner Mark Musielak was so impressed with the
service he received from the credit union that he decided to move all of his accounts there.
"I'll continue bringing my business to the credit union because I value the personalized service,"
says Musielak. While small businesses represent 99.7% of all U.S. firms, many of these businesses
have difficulty getting start-up loans. Credit unions often give entrepreneurs a chance when other
institutions don't want their business. This is because credit unions base their loan decisions on more than just a credit rating. They also look at the member's character.
That was a very important piece of the puzzle for Mark Musielak. A recovering alcoholic
and drug abuser, Musielak helped others as a case manager for his church's drug and alcohol
recovery program. But he had a bigger vision: to start a company that provided job opportunities
for people in recovery. However, he had very little collateral and a poor credit history. Postal
Federal Community Credit Union gave Musielak the break he was looking for to open his
business, God's Green Earth, which provides landscaping and irrigation services to homes
and businesses in the Branson area. PFCCU loaned Musielak the money he needed to purchase
a truck for hauling his company's plants and irrigation supplies while also enrolling him in
a credit-reestablishment program.
God's Green Earth is growing like a weed, prompting Musielak to purchase a plant nursery in the Branson area. Musielak has repaid his debts in full and continues to bring business to the credit union. Musielak knows he couldn't have achieved his dream of owning a business and continue
to dream of years of future success - without the initial help from his credit union. "I can't thank you enough," Musielak told PFCCU's Vice President of Lending John Kelly. "You believed in me."
GE Commercial Motors, a division of REGAL-BELOIT is new PFCCU Employee Group
At REGAL-BELOIT, their extraordinary focus on customer satisfaction has provided
the impetus for them to create the systems and processes needed to be a leader
in the industry. Few companies can match their willingness to adapt and modify
products to meet customer and market demands, or match the "can do" attitude
of their employees. Essential to REGAL-BELOIT'S success has been their ability to
attract and retain the very best people - those with a strong work ethic and a personal
commitment to excellence. When applied within a simple, non-bureaucratic culture
which rewards initiative and emphasizes the importance of cost controls, these
shared values help them sustain their "people advantage", says Dante Rebori,
Communications Leader.
In a world where rapid market change is the norm, their people advantage is perhaps
their greatest strength, allowing them to quickly identify and respond to evolving
customer needs. At all levels of the company, from engineering to manufacturing,
from field sales to finance, they're working together to assure REGAL-BELOIT'S
continued success in serving their customers and investors.
The REGAL-BELOIT electric motor manufacturing facility in Springfield has 530
employees who now have the employee benefit of having a local credit union
to help them meet their financial needs.
If your business or a business that you know is interested in credit union benefits for its
employees, please call Jill Bishop, Vice President Marketing/Business Development at 887-1983, ext 312.

any year, but all of us as member-owners of this
remarkable financial institution can certainly see bright
things on the horizon. PFCCU is on a great course.
Welcoming 2006 is like welcoming growth and great
things for all our members. It's an exciting time, and
I thank you for being a part of it - and for letting PFCCU
be a part of your lives.
We're continually finding new and better ways to
provide all the things our members need, like our
new Visa Gift Cards. They're available for members
to purchase with absolutely no fee, and they make
fabulous gifts. With graduations, birthdays and countless
other celebrations coming up, they're sure to make
your list. I urge you to get one for your loved one
and see their face light up. See? That's what 2006
is all about. Happy New Year.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is ACH and how do I use it?
Automated Clearing House (ACH) service can save you time and effort, making your financial life considerably
easier. It's important, then, to understand the simple steps and pointers that can help you take advantage of ACH. In
order to set up ACH transfers, you must provide the ACH routing number, which is printed on your checks for reference. Use this number to set up:
- Direct deposit of your payroll, Social Security, or even tax refunds
- Direct payment of consumer bills such as mortgages, loans, utility bills and insurance premiums
- Business-to-business payments
- E-checks
- E-commerce payments
- Federal, state and local tax payments
- One-time or recurring transfers of funds
- It's easy, convenient, secure, and best of all - free. So simplify your finances and enjoy more free time by setting up your Automated Clearing House services today.
Why is the government promoting direct deposit?
Direct deposit is safer than mailing checks. No direct deposit payment has ever been lost or stolen. It's easier than checks, because people who get benefits don't need to go to the credit union to deposit a check. Your payment goes straight into your account on payday each month, giving people more control over their money. Direct deposit allows immediate
access to funds from virtually anyplace, anytime. It is simple to sign up for direct deposit - it takes a few minutes to enroll by phone or in person at your credit union or a local Social Security office.
