In 1929, Postal Federal Community Credit Union opened its doors to service a handful of postal employees. It began as Springfield Postal Employees Credit Union. Over the years, it has grown from that handful of employees, to more than 18,000 members. Now it not only continues to serve postal employees, but it serves many many more.
Today, Postal Federal Community Credit Union serves a 10-county area in Southwest Missouri. It no longer limits its membership to postal or government employees. It is a full-service financial cooperation owned and operated solely for its members, by its members. As a member of Postal Federal Community Credit Union, you become an actual owner of the organization.
